1.General provisions

This Policy describes what data the SaloApp service (the “Service” or “Platform”) collects and how we use, store and protect it.

By using the Service, you confirm that you have read this Policy and agree to the data processing practices described in it.

2.Who is who

Three parties are involved in the Service:

Operator— the sole proprietor who owns and develops SaloApp.

User (Professional)— a beauty and grooming professional (barber, cosmetologist, makeup artist, nail artist, etc.) or a salon that has registered in the Service and runs its business in it.

User’s Client— an individual who books services with a Professional through the Service, or whose data the Professional enters into the Service.

Important: the client base belongs to the Professional. The Operator acts as a processor of this data on the Professional’s instructions and provides the technical infrastructure to store and process it.

3.What data we collect

From the Professional

  • Name, phone number, email address
  • Business name and address, list of services and prices, working hours
  • Staff details, if the Professional enters them
  • Financial figures entered into the Service: visit amounts, income and expenses
  • Subscription details: plan, term, payment history
  • Technical data: device type, browser version, IP address, actions in the interface

About the User’s Clients (entered by the Professional or by the Client when booking online)

  • Name, phone number
  • Booking history: date, time, service, professional, price
  • Visit status (completed / cancelled / no-show)
  • Comments and requests left when booking
  • Telegram account data when booking through Telegram

Payment data

Wedo not store card numbers, CVV codes or other card details. All payments are processed by a licensed payment provider. We only receive from it the information needed to confirm a payment, without card details.

4.How and why we use data

4.1. To run the Service

  • Managing the Professional’s bookings, calendar and client base
  • Sending visit reminders and notifications to Clients
  • Accepting subscription payments and booking prepayments
  • Issuing fiscal receipts as required by law
  • Technical support and communication with the User

4.2. For analytics inside the Professional’s account

We process data to show the Professional statistics on their clients, visits and income.

This data is seen by the Professional alone in their account — it belongs to them and helps grow their business.

4.3. For developing the Platform and anonymised market analytics

We analyse Service data to improve the product and understand the beauty market.

Key limitation: for these purposes data is used only in anonymised, aggregated form— as statistics about groups, not information about a specific person. We do not build personal profiles of Users’ Clients for our own commercial purposes and do not contact them directly with offers without their separate consent.

4.4. Access by technical staff

Authorised Operator staff may access a User’s account only for technical support, fixing faults, checking payments and monitoring compliance with the Service’s terms of use.

Such access is granted to a limited number of people bound by confidentiality, and only to the extent needed for the specific task.

We do not use this access to view User data outside the cases listed above. We do not look into specific Users’ client bases or financial figures out of curiosity or for commercial purposes unrelated to supporting and running the Service.

4.5. Payment provider fee

Payments are accepted through a licensed payment provider that charges a processing fee. The fee is added to the payment amount and paid by the payer: the User for subscription payments, the Client for booking prepayments.

The exact amount due, including the fee, is always shown to the payer on the payment page before confirmation.

5.What we don’t do

  • We do not sell data. Neither personal nor anonymised, in any form or under any circumstances. The Platform’s reputation matters more to us than any one-off gain.
  • We do not pass one Professional’s client base to another Professional.
  • We do not use the contacts of Users’ Clients for our own marketing messages without their consent.
  • We do not publish specific Users’ data — neither turnover, client bases nor financial figures. Only aggregated, anonymised figures for the market as a whole may be made public.

6.Who we share data with

Data is shared with third parties only to the extent needed to run the Service:

RecipientWhat is sharedWhy
Payment providerAmount and order detailsAccepting payment and issuing a receipt
Telecom operators and messengersPhone number or account ID, message textDelivering reminders and notifications
Hosting providerTechnically hosted dataHosting and running the Service

7.Storage and security

  • Data is stored on secure servers with restricted access and transmitted over an encrypted connection.
  • Staff access is restricted and granted on a need-to-know basis.
  • Data is kept while the User’s account is active and for up to 12 months after it is deleted — so it can be restored if the User returns and to meet reporting requirements. Anonymised statistical data may be kept indefinitely.

8.User rights

You have the right to:

  • find out which of your data is being processed
  • correct inaccurate data in your account
  • export your client base
  • delete your account and data by contacting support
  • withdraw consent to data processing, which ends your use of the Service

A User’s Client may contact their Professional or us directly to correct or delete their data.

9.Professional’s obligations

By entering their Clients’ data into the Service, the Professional confirms they have a lawful basis to do so and have obtained the Client’s consent where required. The Professional, as owner of the client base, is responsible for the lawfulness of entering third parties’ data.

10.Children

The Service is not intended for independent use by persons under 18. If a Client is a minor, the booking is made by their legal representative.

11.Changes to this Policy

For significant changes, we will notify Users in the Service at least 7 days before the changes take effect.
